National CBD Day: Educating on the benefits of CBD for your Skincare Beauty Brand

On National CBD Day skin care products are marketed to help address everything from acne-prone skin to wrinkles and signs of aging. But are these benefits real, or are they just marketing hype? These are the CBD facts you need to know. http://sourcing-lab.com/

What is the CBD?

CBD (also known as cannabidiol) is the non-toxic component of marijuana or the cannabis plant. CBD is extracted in powder form and is often blended with oils such as olive, hemp, or coconut oil to increase availability and effectiveness.

CBD oil in skincare won’t get you high because it doesn’t have the mind-altering properties of cannabidiol (THC) content. It comes from the stems and stems of the marijuana plant and has deficient levels of THC (often so low that testing equipment cannot detect it).

What is the difference between cannabis, CBD, and THC?

Hemp seed oil is an omega-rich oil extracted from the hemp plant’s seeds (also known as the hemp plant).

These seeds don’t contain calming cannabinoids and generally only contain trace amounts of CBD.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is extracted from the cannabis stem (Cannabis sativa). The plant is rich in cannabinoids, with minimal to undetectable levels of THC. CBD helps restore the body’s overall balance among other benefits. CBD can be extracted from hemp and cannabis plants. Only CBD from the hemp plant is federally legal.

THC is also present in the cannabis plant and is the most discussed compound. It’s intoxicating, which means it can make you feel high.

Why is CBD good for the skin?

CBD spreads reactivity in the skin by telling skin cells to behave more calmly — think redness, rough texture, and dullness.

Does CBD Help Acne-Prone Skin?

Acne-prone skin can feel uncomfortable, so skincare ingredients that soothe and soothe the skin (that’s where CBD comes in) may visibly reduce breakouts and acne-related redness.

Numerous studies have shown that CBD oil has a calming effect when applied to the skin.

This makes CBD a suitable ingredient for acne-prone skin, while its calming benefits help reactive skin look and feel better.

Research has also shown that CBD has the potential to reduce excess sebum (oil) production, possibly due to its balancing effect on skin oil flow.

Despite this encouraging news, most CBD students agree that more solid scientific research is needed to confirm these early results for CBD and acne-prone skin.

CBD for skin aging and wrinkles:

For National CBD Day we wanted to highlight that since it comes from plants, it’s no surprise that CBD oil also has antioxidant properties. The antioxidants in CBD are one way that topical application can help reduce visible signs of aging. By counteracting free radical damage and reducing the appearance of inflammation, cannabidiol skin care products can help visibly reduce wrinkles, dull skin, and redness.

Of course, there are many other antioxidants that make the same claim, so CBD isn’t the only or “best” antioxidant. Rather, it’s just one of many factors to consider, and the more of these ingredients you add to your skin, the better.

CBD for sensitive skin:

One of the benefits of CBD is that it has a significant calming effect. Its dramatic skin-soothing and skin-normalizing effects can help reduce problems associated with skin sensitivity, including redness and reactivity. Since all skin types are affected by environmental stress on a daily basis, the soothing mechanisms of CBD can help control everyone’s skin.

Can I use CBD skin care products during pregnancy?
